Ink & Paper Bookstore is a lovely little shop that feels like entering your favorite reading nook just off the main drag of Albany St in Cazenovia, NY. We were lucky enough to visit on their 1st birthday to share in the celebration through documenting this wonderful shop. It is abundantly clear that a ton of consideration was given to how to maximize the space while also creating that homely feeling that comes with the best bookstores. There are so many little pockets of character from the opening book display highlighting their logo to the plants and neon sign. Each touch gives inspiration to the idea that a new story is around every corner and you can easily browse all they have to offer without feeling cramped in the slightest.

Favorite Aspect:

This one is tough — but I loved the whole design and aesthetic of the shop! Everything works tsoo well together, and they made all the details pop through great color choices to showcase the textures and lines running from old wooden floor to textured black ceiling. You absolutely need to check this one out as you make your way through upstate New York; you won’t be disappointed. Happy first birthday to Ink & Paper!
